About Reform Judaism

The aim of Reform Judaism is to conserve traditional Jewish life whilst simultaneously embracing the challenges and changes of modernity. For us, Judaism has always evolved and will continue to do so.

Reform Judaism promotes inclusivity, offering all those who wish to participate in Jewish life the opportunity to do so. Men and women enjoy full equality, and mixed-faith couples, patrilineal Jews, and Jews of different gender preferences will all find their home within our walls.

Reform Judaism focuses on lifelong learning and Jewish education. We nurture inquiring minds whose questioning spirit adds a new layer of Torah to the generations that have gone before us.

We place great emphasis both on the Jewish rituals that shape our familiar religious structures and on our ethical heritage. Reform Jews work towards mending the world - tikkun olam - and building a more just society.

Above all Reform Judaism welcomes your active involvement. If this excites you, please get in touch at admin@uhcsingapore.org to find out more.
