About Reform Judaism

Reform Judaism aims to conserve both traditional Jewish life and be open to the challenges of modernity. In our eyes, Judaism has always evolved and will continue to do so.

Reform Judaism endeavours to be inclusive to all those who wish to participate in Jewish life. Men and women enjoy full equality, and mixed-faith couples, patrilineal Jews and Jews of different gender preferences will find their home within our walls.

Reform Judaism focusses on Jewish education and lifelong learning - for example, it's never too late to celebrate an adult bat mitzvah! We try to nurture inquiring minds whose questioning spirit adds a new layer of Torah to the generations that have gone before us.

Reform Judaism places great emphasis on our ethical heritage, whilst not neglecting the Jewish rituals that shape our familiar religious structures. We work towards mending the world - tikkun olam - and building a more just society.

Reform Judaism is waiting for you and needs your active involvement. If this excites you, please get in touch at
