Welcome and thank you for your interest in joining United Hebrew Congregation of Singapore, a flourishing egalitarian, inclusive, progressive Jewish community!

Dues are collected annually and are used to support the congregation’s activities, such as High Holy Day services, Passover seder, Shabbat services, social and educational activities, and the UHC Office. Annual dues help cover all of these and more, but do not include meals, Sunday School tuition, or certain special events.

The membership dues allow us to have Rabbi Ribak become our new Rabbi and allow us to continue to bring in Dan Kohane to help lead servcies and teach our B'nai Mitzvah students.

Kindly note that membership dues must be paid before we can accept your reservation to attend High Holy Days events.

ANNUAL DUES AND TIERS

New Chai Package
This year we are adding a new level, Chai, which goes above and beyond the Builder level. Not only does the Chai membership allow our congregation to continue to flourish and keep our favorite events on the calendar, it also makes your life easier as it includes registration fees to all community events, including the Gala (two tickets plus five raffle tickets), High Holiday lunches and break fasts, Sukot dinners, Seders and more. It also includes Hebrew school tuition and BBYO activity fees for up to three children. Give at the Chai level and you won’t have to make any other payments for the rest of the year.
$18,000 per household

Builder
This generous level of support helps to build the UHC’s future and allows us to focus on expanding our community. This membership level brings with it the opportunity to literally ‘build’ the UHC by gifting one household membership a year to a family brand new to UHC.
$10,000 per household

Sustainer
Membership fees at this level help to cover more than just the UHC operating costs. This membership level allows us to further develop and grow the UHC community, building on our existing structure to create a vibrant, dynamic and active UHC.
$5,000 per household

Partner
Membership fees at this level of support cover 100% of our targeted operating costs, and sustain the work that we are currently doing within our flourishing community.

Congregant
In order to cover the costs of running the UHC we have different levels of membership. We understand that not everyone is in a position to support the community in this way and as such we are offering a subsidised membership rate. Membership fees at this level of support cover 55% of our targeted operating costs.

Our congregation does not have a dedicated storage space, and our supplies are housed with various congregants. We rely entirely on volunteers to manage logistics - our volunteer congregation needs your participation in order to make things happen!

The UHC streams most services and events online and takes photographs at appropriate times. These photographs may be shared on our UHC Website, Facebook Group/Page and through UHC communication channels. If you do not wish for your (& your family's) photographs to be used, please email admin.
