Rabbi Joslin Visit to Singapore

The Search Committee and I are pleased to announce that Rabbinic candidate, Rabbi David Joslin, will visit Singapore between Thursday, Decmber 5 and Sunday, December 8. During this visit, members of the UHC community will have a number of opportunities to meet Rabbi Joslin in spiritual as well as social and academic capacities.

I would like to thank the whole search committee along with members of the Gabbai team and the Management Committee for undertaking a rigorous vetting and interview process and getting us to this stage.

Rabbi David Joslin

Originally from the Boston area, Rabbi David Joslin worked in finance for several years before making aliyah where he served in the Israeli army, worked for a start-up company, and earned an M.A. in Israeli Security and Foreign Policy from Tel Aviv University. David has worked throughout the Jewish world in various functions ranging from Hebrew school, Federation, retirement communities, JCC

summer camp, Hillel life, and most recently as the Rabbi of Congregation Temple Beth Israel in Plattsburgh, New York. When he’s not leading Birthright Israel groups, listening to music, finding new comedians, and reading, he enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Come join us for our staple Friday night all-welcoming, davven-rich and schmooze-infused Shabbat gathering led by Rabbi Joslin. We start with a musical service at 6:30pm, full of melodies old and new. Followed by a community potluck Oneg.
